Joy to the world

I took the kids to the mall today to see Santa, they took pics followed by more pics under the tree at home. Getting a good picture of the two of them is always a challenge, but I was happy with the outcome. Kalee was more than eager to plant a big kiss on
Matthew's cheek in the picture, not because she wanted to be sweet, but because she just wanted to annoy the heck out of him! Weeks of being out of school and being together constantly is catching up. I tried to tell them that Santa Claus is watching what they do, but Matthew just said" nuh uh Mommy he's at the Mall!"
Needless to say, I'm looking forward to next week when my Mom comes to stay with us. All I want for Christmas is a vacation....
(They look so angelic here, you almost can't tell those are forced smiles)

The countdown begins...

I broke out the calendar today and started the countdown to Frank's arrival. We don't have an exact arrival date yet, but it looks like he will be home towards the end of February. 372 days down and about 90 to go......I can't tell you how excited I am about this!! We have missed him so much. It's always hard at this time of year, the holidays just make us miss him more. I hope that everyone takes time out of their busy schedule this Christmas to remember our troops and the sacrifices they have made for us. I want to say thank you to everyone that helped with donating to our carepackages. We got about 8 boxes together this year, not bad. It would be alot more if we didn't have to spend a good portion of money on shipping. I think there should be a free shipping service in place for military wives and people wanting to donate to our troops!
